KURINUKI BREAKFAST @ROOTS
There is a fragile and authentic beauty in imperfection: this is the essence of the Japanese philosophy of wabi-sabi.
From this vision comes Kurinuki, an ancient technique where nothing is added, but rather removed. Starting from a solid block of clay, you carve slowly, gesture after gesture, until the hidden form reveals itself.
It is a meditative and powerful process that embraces the unexpected and celebrates uniqueness. No two pieces are ever the same: each cup, bowl, or vessel carries the unrepeatable imprint of the moment and the hand that created it.
A workshop unlike any other, blending Japanese philosophy, creativity, and conviviality.
We gather at Roots, accompanied by a special breakfast by LALE Bakery, to turn an ordinary morning into a ritual of slowness, discovery, and shared beauty.
